It was occupied by Italians during Italy’s Fascist regime in Ethiopia 1936-1941. Short after the occupation Piassa became a central location in Addis Ababa for trade, entertainment, and of course cafe’s. Rich with culture and history, Piassa is a location Ethiopians are proud to claim as their own.

Last Week my best Bud’s and I went to Canada. It was one last trip together before I move to Ethiopia. We drove over 3,500 miles in 9 days. UMM Ridiculous! The Photos I’ve posted are some of the favorite places we visited. My Favorite stop was the Ghost Lab in Nova Scotia. The Ghost Lab is a research facility of McKay-Lyons Sweetapple Limited. For the past 3 years I’ve been borrowing my brother’s Toyota Tercel. I returned it to him last week driving from Greensboro, NC to Milwaukee, WI in the same day. It was a super boring drive that took about 15 hours (Dumb GPS got me lost). I thought if I took photos of the whole thing and put a little Techno to it, it might make the drive go a little faster.
